A small museum, housed in the Annie Cooper Boyd House—one of the oldest houses in Sag Harbor (ca. 1796), focused on the rich history of Sag Harbor. SHHS has the largest collection of original art by local artist Annie Cooper Boyd (1864-1941), along with costumes, ledgers, documents and diaries.
Annie Cooper Boyd House
Built in 1796, it is one of the oldest houses in Sag Harbor. In 1906, Annie transformed it into a Victorian bungalo, and today it houses Annie’s paintings of old Sag Harbor including those painted on the walls. Open weekends in the season and otherwise by appointment.
